13.12 Warped Volumes

The data volume can be warped by non-linear shifting the texture coordinates of the data slices. For more warping control, tessellate the the vertices to provide more vertex locations to perturb the texture coordinate values. Among other things, very high quality atmospheric effects, such as smoke, can be produced with this technique.
